My name is Rachael Maddux. I grew up in Chattanooga, Tenn. and graduated from went to college in Atlanta and then for while worked at Paste. These days, I edit Georgia Tech’s alumni magazine and write freelance—mostly essays and cultural criticism (here’s a bit of my work). I live in the tiny great city of Decatur, Ga. with my husband Joe. I am especially fond of tacos, car rides and bad movies.
