Smoke Fairies — “The Three of Us”
Still stuck on this Smoke Fairies record, which I wrote about for Pitchfork last week. I don’t usually get hung up on whether or not a band is getting any amount of the attention they deserve but I’m not entirely sure why these ladies aren’t ripping all sorts of hearts out of all sorts of chests right now. KNOW THEM, I COMMAND YOU. Or at least enjoy this track, maybe the most ominous song ever written about a road-trip pit-stop (?!).
